How do I register to get eBooks and eAudiobooks?

You can borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks using BorrowBox.

Once you have your library card number and PIN you can borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks using your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC.

Don't have a pin?

Reading and listening on a smartphone or tablet

1. Download the BorrowBox app from your app store:

2. Open the app
3. a. If you don't have a BorrowBox account, you'll be asked to select your library service from the list and then enter your library card number and PIN. Complete your account details by entering your email address and accepting the terms & conditions and clicking on submit - your account will be created.
   b. If you already have an account just open the app, select your library service from the list and enter your library card number and PIN.
4. Enjoy a fantastic range of reading and listening material!

Reading and listening on a PC or laptop

1. Visit your library service's website and follow the link to BorrowBox - there's a list of library contacts on the Libraries Ireland website.
2. Click Sign in at the top right of the screen
3. Enter your library card number and your PIN and click Sign in
4. If you don't have a BorrowBox account, you'll be asked to select your library service from the list and then enter your library card number and PIN. Complete your account details by entering your email address and accepting the terms & conditions and clicking on submit - your account will be created.
5. If you already have an account, sign in with your library card number and PIN.
6. When logged into the BorrowBox website select help from the menu at the top and you'll find instructions for downloading and reading eBooks and listening to audio books.
7. Enjoy a fantastic range of reading and listening material!
